Mission Statement

The Tocqueville Fellowship is a thoughtfully designed program created in 2003 by Alexandre Pesey, aimed at expanding the horizons of France’s emerging conservative leaders. By providing unique opportunities, participants engage with activists, influencers, leaders, and thinkers from both American and French civil societies.

The Tocqueville Fellowship actively promotes the establishment of meaningful connections among conservative leaders and organizations in France and the United States. Through active participation in conferences, exclusive meetings, and various events, the Tocqueville Fellowship fosters a collaborative environment that enables young leaders to achieve their goals.

The Tocqueville Fellowship acts as a catalyst, inspiring and fostering the creation of innovative initiatives in French civil society. Utilizing insights gained from the United States and the individual research of Fellows, the program integrates the valuable lessons acquired during their journey into the fabric of French civil society.
