About us ?

The Bourse Tocqueville is an educational and cultural program founded in 2003 by Alexandre Pesey. Based in Paris, the Bourse Tocqueville programs work to build bridges between the French and American conservative movements. Our main program is an annual two-week trip to Washington D.C. for six laureates chosen by a jury of renowned civic leaders.

The Tocqueville Fellowship trip allows laureates to immerse themselves in the heart of American political power, attending seminars and training courses at the most prestigious institutes. They discover the centers of power and meet American decision-makers, be they elected officials, journalists, academics or experts. Fellows learn new techniques of action, communication and influence.
